Meet the Campus Minister:

Vinnie Athey grew up in Annandale, Virginia, a few miles outside of Washington D.C. He attended Virginia Tech for undergrad where he studied Journalism. After college, Vinnie spent two years as the RUF intern at the University of Florida. Molly, his wife and native of Hattiesburg, MS, did the RUF internship at Florida State during that time which is how they met.

Vinnie and Molly got married in January of 2014 and quickly moved up to Charlotte, NC where Vinnie attended Reformed Theological Seminary, receiving his Masters of Divinity in 2017. They are both thrilled to be in Huntsville and to be able to serve RUF at UAH. They currently have no kids and no pets but they do have a love for the outdoors.
