"If I could highlight just one things that RUF seeks to be about, it would be caring for the souls of students. Academics occupy their minds; addictions compete for their bodies. We want to capture their hearts for the gospel which tranforms the whole person."
~ Dr. Rod Mays, Former RUF National Coordinator
I am grateful that your son or daughter has chosen to look into RUF at UAH and I would cherish the opportunity to talk with you about your student and our ministry. My wife, Molly, and I moved to Huntsville to work with RUF for one primary purpose: to pastor college students through this unique stage of life. College can be a time of both joy and sadness, and we want to be here for your student, to walk with them through this time and help them recognize their need for and dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ. We are wounded, broken sinners, utterly lost apart from the saving work of Christ on the cross, yet we know by the power of the Holy Spirit God is going to change lives for his glory at UAH.
RUF was highly influential for both Molly and I during college. We are thankful for ministries like RUF to help student trust Jesus more during such an influential time in their lives.
If you have any questions at all about RUF, or would like to know more about this work at UAH, I would love to talk with you. Please feel free to call any time.
